C.2) What is the difference between total and partial sharing modes?
The sharing mode is defined by the Provider during the configuration of the refrigerated facility and can be one of the following:
- • Total: the facility is fully shared with a single Client. Only their products will be stored inside.
- • Partial: the facility can be partially shared with multiple Clients. Products from different Clients can be stored in the same space.
To check the sharing mode of your booked facility, you can view the booking summary in the 'My Reservations' section if the sharing has not started yet, or in the 'Booking History' section if the sharing has already begun.
C.2) What is the difference between pallet, bins, both, and unit-based storage modes?
The Supplier can specify, for each facility, the required storage method and dimensions. The available options are:
- • Pallet: upon delivery, the goods must be placed on pallets in order to be stored in the facility.
- • Bins: upon delivery, the goods must be placed in bins to be properly stored.
- • Both: the goods can be stored either on pallets or in bins, depending on the requirements.
- • By unit: the goods should not be placed on pallets or in bins, but stored individually (e.g. flowers, cheese, etc.).
IMPORTANT: make sure to follow the storage method and size requirements specified by the Provider. If you have any questions or special needs, we recommend contacting the Provider directly.
You can check the storage method of the booked facility in the booking summary, available in the “My Bookings” section (if the sharing has not yet started) or in the “Booking History” section (if the sharing is already active).
C3) Difference between 'Instant Confirmation' and 'Booking Request'

The Customer will always receive an email notification regarding the outcome of the request. In addition, they can check the updated status at any time in the “My reservations” section.
C.4) What are Handling Costs and Withdrawal Costs?
During the booking process, you may be able to select — only if provided by the Supplier — the following services:
- • Handling: Indicates the fee charged by the Supplier to move your goods, using one of the available storage types, within the refrigerated facility. The cost includes both inbound handling (e.g., Pallet-in) and outbound handling (e.g., Pallet-out). For more information, contact the Supplier via the messaging function.
- • Withdrawal: Indicates the fee charged by the Supplier to retrieve your goods from a previously stored lot. For more information, contact the Supplier via the messaging function.
IMPORTANT: If you use any of these services without booking them during the reservation process — or if you request a higher number of handling/retrieval operations than originally booked — the Supplier may apply an additional charge beyond the original booking cost.
You can review the services included in your booking in the “My Reservations” section (if the sharing has not yet started) or in the “Booking History” section (if the sharing is already active).
C.5) How can I request an extra service from the Supplier?
If you want to request an extra service — such as early check-in, use of equipment available on-site, or a higher number of handling and retrieval operations — you can contact the Supplier directly before arrival or include the request during the booking process.
Use the messaging function to get in touch with the Supplier.C.6) How do I get more information about Supplier’s facilities?
Search for the Supplier through the “Suppliers” page and contact them using the messaging function. You can view their response via the email notification you receive or by logging into your profile.
C.7) Are there shelves inside the storage space?
This information is available in the space’s listing card. If shelves are present, you can check the 'Additional Information' section to view their height and maximum load capacity.
